Brewed to celebrate the two-year anniversary for when we started brewing the very first batches in our popular WiLD SOUR Series in November 2013, this is a smoked version of our Leipzig-Style Gose brewed with English Oak-smoked sea salt and mesquite-smoked malt for just a subtle touch of smokiness to add another layer of complexity in this sour ale know for its tart, citrusy, lime-like qualities and slight spicy notes from added coriander.

Kriek is our kettle-soured version of a Belgian-style Fruit Lambic with the addition of Montgomery Tart Cherry from Michigan. The beer presents with a bright red color and fruity, cherry aroma which if followed by a flavor & tartness that evokes memories of eating tart, underripe cherries right off the tree from the family farm's orchard. A hint of residual sweetness from the fruit is balanced by the overall dryness and underlying lactic sourness of the base beer.

This is our original 'reverse engineered' kettle sour in the series and is our interpretation of a Berliner-style Weisse Beer. With a true-to-style ABV, it is a very pale, light bodied, low hopped, highly attenuated and pleasantly acidic lemony-tart with a little funk from our unique, indigenous mixed culture kettle souring process.

Our Leipzig-Style Gose and blueberries are a combination destined to be together, so we've done that for you with this edition of our Gose. The blueberries add another layer of fruity complexity to this sour ale already known for its tart, citrusy qualities while still balance by the spicy character of coriander and a mineral mouthfeel from the French sea salt.

Sour Cherry Stout ignores style boundaries as it initially resembles a sweet stout base beer with notes of malt sweetness, chocolate, caramel, low roast bitterness and low-medium hop bitterness, but then that sweet stout is kettle-soured and fermented with added cherries to bring everything in balance with the wild lactic acidity, sourness and fruitiness which defines and is so loved in this Series.

Adambier is a very complex, dark and historically obscure German-style sour ale. The initial impression of rich, dark chocolate malt with touches of fig-like and raisin-like flavors gives way to the caramel-toasty and lightly smoky malt character with low hop presence and bitterness, all sharply cut by a wild lactic sour finish and topped off with tannins from wood aging.

We threw caution to the wind with our interpretation of a Leipzig-style Gose, featuring complex aromas and acidic flavors contributed by indigenous wild yeast and lactic fermentation. Lemon, lime and other citrus-like qualities are balanced by the spicy character of coriander and a mineral-mouthfeel from sea salt harvested on the shores of France, resulting in a refreshing beer that was worth the risk.

Plum Sour Stout rebels against style boundaries as it opens with a bold fusion of fruitiness and chocolatey roast. Dark fruit flavors then take hold, evoking memories of plum jam and chocolate-covered cherries to bring everything into balance. The result is a light-bodied and refreshingly tart stout that's just plum sour!!

Flanders Red is an acidic, sour ale with an initial impression of tart cherries and sour candy that dissipates into a complex palate displaying both a sharp lactic sourness with a backbone of caramel and biscuit malt profiles and minimal hop character. The dry, wine-like finish accentuates the complex malt profile and bright fruit notes showcased in this brilliant, red colored interpretation of a Belgian-style Flanders.

Lynnbrook, named after our founder's family farm, is a wild Berliner-style Weisse with raspberries added. The result is a refreshing, fuchsia-color beer having an aroma of raspberry-lemon giving way to hints of brie and reminiscent old barnyard funkiest and a flavor of subtle lemon and yogurt supported by tart, fresh raspberries and underlining lactic sourness.
