Beginning late fall 2016. The actual dates will be posted here on this site as we get closer to our anticipated opening date in early 2017. 


To apply, please download the 'Application for Employment' fill it out and send it back to us. Be sure to include your resume along with your completed application. Please make sure you qualify for the role before applying. Applying numerous times or for multiple positions will not increase your chances (and will likely raise a red flag within the recruiting team). After applying, we will contact you within about two weeks if we are considering your application. 


We regret that we can't reply personally to each application submission, but if there's an immediate match between your talents and our needs, we will contact you directly within a week. (If you don't hear from us within that time, please assume that we do not have an appropriate opportunity at this point, but we will certainly keep your talents in mind and your qualifications on file for any appropriate openings which may develop in the future. 


Our hiring team works with people in each of our departments to determine fit, review incoming applications/resumes, and coordinate any potential interview(s). Candidates may interview with several members of our team.


After a series of interviews, the hiring team gets together to review and compare each candidate's qualifications for the role they applied for. 


DESTIHL Brewery looks for talented people who have a wide range of interests and experience. Most of our hires have significant experience working in our specific field. We appreciate candidates with a broad range of skills and experiences, whether from past employment experiences or personal endeavors.

Once we get started with the potential interview process, we will speak with your references, and be able to have enough substantial conversations with you to learn who you are and how we can help you get to know DESTIHL Brewery.


We think its important for our continued success that we bring in people from both ends of the spectrum to keep us from going bland and to import new ideas, techniques, and perspectives. In some cases we need a seasoned professional who can hit the brewery floor running, while in others we have a solid, supportive professional network in place that can help a less experienced person grow and thrive in our brewery.

You MUST have significant brewing and/or cellar experience in a brewery or brewpub; 

Passion and knowledge of beer styles, brewing fundamentals, science, chemistry, yeast & microbe biology, sanitation, QA/QC, beer sensory analysis and other brewery processes; must be mechanically inclined; computer skills required; completion of a formally recognized Brewing Program strongly preferred; degree in associated field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Mechanical, Engineering or Biological Sciences a plus; good maintenance, safe operating practices and forklift experience will be required; 

Possess a strong, self-motivated work ethic, efficiency, multi-tasking ability and time management; 

Great organizational, analytical, motivational and people skills with a team mentality;

Committed to maintaining and enforcing a clean, sanitary and safe work environment; Must be physically fit (i.e., must frequently perform difficult physical activities in a variety of harsh environmental conditions that require moderate to maximum strength and endurance including sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, working in tight or confined spaces, heavy lifting of 161 lb. kegs, 55 lb. bags of grain, etc., balancing, walking and safe handling of hazardous materials); 

Ability to actively participate and help maintain an efficient, professional and enjoyable workplace;
